Senior Accountant – Fixed Assets Accounting

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for capitalization of fixed assets and maintaining the Fixed Asset Module

• Ensure appropriate cutoff for Capital Work in Progress and timely reclass based on asset put to use dates

• Run monthly depreciation adjustments and work with regional controllers for the preparation of consolidated fixed asset roll-forward

• Support in preparation of quarterly and annual disclosures and other internal and external reporting requirements

• Preparing reconciliations of balance sheet accounts, investigating, and resolving discrepancies as needed

• Providing support to the regions as needed to help with reconciliations

• Maintain internal process documentation to reflect the most up-to-date ways of work

• Ensure standard operating procedures are operationalized and consistent in both content and format with expectations laid out by CAO organization

• Provide support on internal and external audits including SOX processes.

Qualifications:

• Semi-qualified or Qualified Chartered Accountants with 5- 8 years of experience in corporate accounting

• Experience in US GAAP and SOX

• Experience in ERP systems and other financial reporting tools/platforms e.g. BlackLine, Workiva

• NetSuite experience is a plus but not required

• Experience in Fixed Assets accounting and manufacturing process

• Advance Excel working knowledge

• Excellent analytical and communication skills for problem solving

• Self-motivated and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
