Job Description

1. Day to day book keeping for various group entities

a) Understanding the structure for funds launched under SEBI (Alternative Investment Funds Regulations, 2012 and IFSCA Fund Management Regulations, 2022).

b) Recording accounting entries for funds, investment manager entity, sponsor entity and any other entity, as may be relevant, on a day to day basis in Tally ERP software.

2. Payroll and vendor payment processing

a) Assisting the team with payroll processing on monthly basis

b) Reviewing vendor invoices and processing payments

c) Computing and accounting for TDS and GST on various transactions (outward and inward)

3. Tax related compliances

a) Assisting in preparing and filing monthly GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B)

b) Assisting in preparing monthly TDS computation and payments and filing quarterly TDS returns

4. Assisting the team with statutory and tax audits

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree

• Minimum 1 year of experience in accounting field. Fresher candidates may also be considered.

• Knowledge and experience in AIF industry would be preferred

• Strong knowledge of tally is a must

• Should possess strong analytical skills, accuracy and attention to detail

• Ability and willingness to meet business deadlines

• Strong time management and organizational skills
